At Essex Powder Coating, we offer professional powder coating for motorcycle alloy wheels from road bikes, classics and performance machines. Powder coating gives a far more durable finish than paint, helping to protect against corrosion, chips and everyday wear while giving your wheels a fresh, factory-quality look.

Motorcycle wheels are priced at £75 each in a standard colour.

Before sending or dropping off your wheels, they must be fully stripped down and ready for coating. This means:

• Tyres removed
• Bearings removed
• Sprockets, discs and any fittings removed

We can then prepare and re-coat the wheels properly without damaging any components.

What’s Included in Our Process

Every wheel goes through our full preparation and coating process to ensure a durable, high-quality finish:

• Acid dipped to remove old paint and corrosion
• Jet washed for a deep clean
• Outgassed in the oven to remove contaminants
• Sand/media blasted back to bare metal
• Minor curb marks and damage repaired where possible
• Powder coated in your chosen colour
• Lacquered if required for extra protection

This is the same style of process used by major automotive manufacturers to achieve a long-lasting, hard-wearing finish.
