How long does alloy wheel refurbishment take?

Normally around 2 working days for a standard set of four wheels, depending on the condition of the wheels and the finish required.

What is included in a full alloy wheel refurbishment?

The wheels are removed from the vehicle and the tyres are removed. The wheels are then inspected, chemically stripped and outgassed before being prepared and blasted. Any required repairs are carried out, followed by primer application, the selected powder colour, oven curing and a final quality check. The tyres are then refitted and balanced before the wheels are fitted back onto the vehicle.

What colours and finishes are available?

Essex Powder Coating offers a wide range of colours and finishes including gloss black, satin/matt finishes, silvers, greys, bronzes and custom colours. Customers can contact the team if they have a particular finish in mind.

Do you only powder coat alloy wheels?
